    全球气温升高|全球变暖大骗局3个观点

    　　The United Nations weather agency said that 2004 was the fourth-warmest year in history and is part of a 10-year warming trend that has been occurring since 1990. Due to(由于) the frequent hurricanes(飓风), typhoons (台风), and other natural disasters in various parts of the world, this year has also been the most expensive for insurance companies as they pay for the damage the weather has caused.
    　　Michel Jarraud, secretary-general (秘书长) of the World Meteorological Organization (世界气象组织), said the increased storm activity and increased warming could not be attributed to(把……归因于) any particular cause, but was part of a global warming trend that was likely to contin- ue. Over the past century, temperatures have risen an average of more than one degree across the world. Scientists said an increase in temperature change is likely to continue disrupting (扰乱) the global climate, increasing the intensity (强度) of storms, drying up farmlands and raising ocean levels, among other things that will damage the Earth.

    　　世界气象组织秘书长米歇尔・雅罗说，风暴的增加和气温升高没有其他特别的原因，而是全球气温上升趋势很可能继续的体现。在过去的一个世纪，全球气温平均升高了一度多。科学家说气温变化中的上升趋势很可能继续破坏地球的气候，增加风暴的强度，使农田更加干旱，升高海平面的水位，以及导致其他对地球有害的情况。
