    　　迈克（Mike）走进一家眼镜店，他想为自己买一副眼镜。店主给他试戴了店里很多副眼镜，都不能让Mike认出墙上的字，这是为什么呢？ 　　Mike is a six-year-old boy. He finds his grandfather always wears a pair of glasses while reading books and newspapers. He thinks it is interesting and decides to buy himself a pair of glasses.
    　　He leaves his home with some money. Soon he goes into a store.
    　　“Can I help you?” asks the man in the store.
    　　“I want to buy a pair of glasses.”
    　　“OK. There are many kinds of glasses for chicken in my shop.”
    　　The man makes Mike try a pair of glasses. “Can you read the words on the wall with the glasses?”
    　　“No, I can’t.” says Mike.
    　　The man makes Mike try another pair. “Now, tell me if you can read the words?”
    　　“No, I can’t.”
    　　The man makes Mike try on a lot of glasses, but he always shakes his head and says, “No, I can’t read the letters. ”
    　　At last, the man take off Mike’s glasses and asks, “Can … you … read the words … on the wall … now?”
    　　“No, I can’t.” Mike answers. “I’ve never been to school. These words are too difficult for me to read.”
