As Easter is not far away, and one of the most recognizable icons of the holiday is the cute little bunny
rabbit, it only seems appropriate that we scour[擦洗] the vast
library of film for this very visage[容貌]! Bunnies are about as all over the place as you could imagine. No, seriously. Bunnies have been hanging around in movies for a good long time. So, without further ado[无谓的纷扰] and pointless rambling[闲逛],
here are some of the most famous rabbits ever.

Assorted [多样混合的] Rabbits (Watership Down, 1978)

Set in the English countryside, Watership Down opens with a narrated prologue[开场白]
establishing the Lapine culture and mythology, describing the creation of the world and its
animals by “Lord Frith” (the name of their god), including the rabbits’ leader, Prince “El-ahrairah.” All the animals are friendly and eat grass, but the rabbits soon multiply[繁殖] and overwhelm[压倒]
the other animals. When Frith warns El-ahrairah to control his people, the prince scoffs at[嘲笑，藐视]
his warning; in retaliation[报复], Frith gives each non-rabbit a gift, turning some of them into predators[食肉动物] that hunt down and kill the rabbits. However, Frith also gifts the rabbits with speed and cunning[狡猾]; many creatures may seek to kill El-ahrairah and his descendants[后代], but the rabbits may survive by their wits and quickness.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit is a 1988 film directed by Robert Zemeckis, produced by Steven Spielberg and based on Gary K. Wolf’s novel Who Censored Roger Rabbit?. The film combines the use of traditional animation and live-action. It tells the story of private investigator Eddie Valiant caught in a mystery that involves Roger Rabbit, an A-list “toon注1” who is framed for murder.

The White Rabbit appears at the very beginning of the movie wearing a waistcoat[马甲], and muttering[咕哝] “Oh dear! Oh dear! I shall be too late!” Alice follows him down the rabbit hole into Wonderland. He is also the inspiration for a Jefferson Airplane注4
song (“White Rabbit” from their 1967 album Surrealistic Pillow), and is referenced[提及] in the Matrix.
