Priest:At this time, I have a special reading for a couple. Before that, I want to say something special about these two. Normally I"ll meet my couples over in several occasions when the opportunity really meets ones face to face. We spoke on the phone quite a few times. What happens is, when I meet with couples as a priest, there"re lots of responsibilities when I perform in marriage for a couple. It"s not my choice whether they belong together as husband and wife, whether would I face to feel that love is true love, and if I would like to participate in it, and also give them opportunity might not like me, you never know... So one of the things I look for right off the bat, I use a couple techniques. What I do is... I asked them a lot of questions about themselves, giving them the opportunities to ask me questions. Go back and forth, and I looked for a couple of things.
Priest:The three things that I looked for, is first, the communication between the two of them. How they answer questions, so on and so forth. Second, is the way they look at each other. And the third, when I ask questions about each other, how they speak of one another. Well. One of the things I noticed, when these two walked through the door immediately. The love they had for each other, you literally could feel it. Like all of us, It were all around them... I knew it right away. I want to participate in this. Second, with once again, the way they looked at each other, the course that we sat down and we spoke, I asked them questions, and one of the things I noticed right away was how they look at each other, they had a look of love in their eyes, that literally told me that these two had found their soul mates. The love is unbelievable. You could see it, just beaming from them. Second was communication. I would ask questions, (such as) growing up, questions about their parents, educational backgrounds, professional lives, how they met. We brought them to this wonderful day and their life together. One of the things I noticed right away, is they were basically on the same page, they knew literally what"s in each other"s head. Erik would start to answer questions, and Lingling would finish. (Lingling: do I ?) Lingling would start to say stop while Erik wouldn"t say a word. Right then at there I know it"s perfect. But what really touch me in many ways was, as I asked them questions about each other, I asked Erik several questions about Lingling and a couple of questions about Erik. Every time they would answer, they would look at each other and look back. It wasn"t the look of approval; it was the look of love. I knew that this was the beautiful thing.
Priest:And that was how I found this reading, which is that I feel is appropriate for the two of them... This is called “This is where we belong together”...
Because whatever you smile, something deep inside me urges me to smile back.
Whenever I"m down, I hear laughter I come alive again.
Whenever I get too excited or agitated, you know how to calm me down.
I often catch myself watching your faces when you talk or listen to others.
Just seeing your reaction makes me happy.
      I know we belong together,
because when we talked, your softness has been sleeping with me for a while, or in something I never knew is there.
You"re the first person I want to see in the morning,
and the last one I want to turn to when things get rough.
The one I want to share my happiness with when things are going great,
the one who might trust my heart and my dreams.
I know we belong together, because I have a faith in you. Unlike the faith I have in everyone else.
Because you bring out the best in me, just as I bring it out in you.
I know we belong together, because I want to love you, and do feel all that love and tales.
I want your happiness is as much as I want of my own if not more.
And this desire will never go away.
Erik: (To Lingling) You"re so beautiful.
Priest:Erik and Lingling, you have share of promises of our presents, do you have a token or symbol that you wish to exchange?
Erik and Lingling: Yes, we do.
Priest: Lingling, will you take that candle and stay right here... and Erik take that one and stay here, and I will take that one... Light them together...
      Erik: Okay.
Priest: As this time, I"d like to participate in this spiritual ritual. We"re told that each one of us here is spot of bright light like a candle... Each of the candles represents the individuals the bright lights of Erik and Lingling. The individual souls separate and distinct, this is the visual expressions of the unity build of each other of our God. Hope the bright lights would give Erik and Lingling direction to begin with...
Priest: (To the best man-Steve) Do you have the ring, sir? These aren"t the ones you showed me before... (Kidding)
Priest: I, holding in my hands two rings, symbolic of love and commitment, to be given and receive, exponent of never ending all the friendships, circles of life and circles of love...
Priest: (To Erik) turn to your best man, take the ring, and face to your bride and take her left hand. Please put it on Lingling and repeat these words:
      Erik: Okay.
Priest: The wedding is the visible signs of this spiritual bond, which unite two lovers" heart and endless love.
Priest: Please put it on Lingling" and repeat this words:
Erik: This ring, without beginning of a ring, is the symbol of my undying love for you. I give you this ring, as I give you my heart, and very breath of my soul, for all the days of my life.
