Crashing on the mainland continent, they are forced to brave the harsh realities of life outside the zoo...again. The fact that this is the exact same plot as the first movie doesn’t sound very promising[有前途的], but if you’re tired of Lemur[狐猴]’s dancing around to “We like to move it, move it,” you’re tired of life.

　　The Despereaux of the title is a mouse (Matthew Broderick) banished[驱逐] from the Royal Court[宫廷] because of his love for the princess (Emma Watson). In the dungeon[地牢] he meets a rat, Roscuro (Dustin Hoffman) who dreams of leaving the gloomy[黑暗的] darkness. As Despereaux and Roscuro plan their escape, they get involved in a plot against the throne[王座] and must use their wits to save the princess. Sam Fell directed the enjoyable Flushed Away, and this looks to have enough voice talent to storm[猛攻] a castle, so should be on the better end of[对……处于有利地位] this year’s animated offerings.
　　片名中的德佩罗是一只老鼠（马修・布罗德里克配音），由于他爱上了公主（艾玛・沃特森配音），所以被人驱逐出宫廷。在地牢里，他遇到了一心想逃离这个暗无天日之地的老鼠罗斯库罗（达斯丁・霍夫曼配音）。在德佩罗和罗斯库罗准备逃亡计划的过程中，他们卷入了一场意图谋反的阴谋当中，必须运用自己的智慧拯救公主。山姆・菲尔曾经导演过那部快乐有趣的《鼠国流浪记》，加上本片的配音阵容强得足以攻城掠地，想必能成为今年众多动画片中的佼佼者。
