　　1.教室前部有一张教师的讲桌。　　【误】 There is a teacher’s desk in front of the classroom. 　　【正】 There is a teacher’s desk in the front of the classroom.
　　【析】 in front of表示在某一范围之外的前面；而in the front of表示在某一范围之内的前面。
　　2.昨天这个时候，我正在看电视。
　　【误】 I am watching TV at this time yesterday.
　　【正】 I was watching TV at this time yesterday.
　　【析】与at this time yesterday连用的谓语动词应为过去进行时。
　　3.回答那个问题对我来讲很容易。
　　【误】 It is easy for me answering the question.
　　【正】 It is easy for me to answer the question.
　　【析】 “It’s + 形容词 + for sb to do sth”意为“干某事对某人来说是……”，其中it是形式主语，而for sb to do sth是真正的主语。此处的to do sth不能改为doing sth。
　　4.你经常收到你妈妈的来信吗？
　　【误】 Do you often hear of your mother？
　　【正】 Do you often hear from your mother？
　　【析】 hear of意为“听说”；而hear from意为“收到……的来信”。
　　5.她说她不会弹钢琴。
　　【误】 She said she can’t play the piano.
　　【正】 She said she couldn’t play the piano.
　　【析】如果主句谓语动词为一般过去时，那么在一般情况下从句谓语动词必须用与过去有关的时态，所以应该把can’t改为couldn’t。
　　6.老师告诉我们地球绕着太阳转。
　　【误】 The teacher told us that the earth moved around the sun.
　　【正】 The teacher told us that the earth moves around the sun.
　　【析】 “地球绕着太阳转”是个客观真理，那么不管主句谓语动词是什么时态，从句谓语动词的时态都是一般现在时，故应该把moved改为moves。
　　7.你能告诉我你昨天上学为什么迟到了吗？
　　【误】 Could you tell me why were you late for school yesterday？
　　【正】 Could you tell me why you were late for school yesterday？
　　【析】宾语从句中的主语和谓语应为陈述语序，不应该倒装。
　　8.我妈妈经常告诉我不要到河里游泳。
　　【误】 My mother often tells me to not swim in the river.
　　【正】 My mother often tells me not to swim in the river.
　　【析】 tell sb to do sth的意思是“告诉某人干某事”，其中动词不定式的否定形式应为not to do sth。
　　9.这些外套在尺寸上不一样。
　　【误】 These coats are different from size.
　　【正】 These coats are different in size.
　　【析】 be different in的意思是“在……方面不一样”。而be different from意为“与……不同”。
　　10.他说他对英语不感兴趣。
　　【误】 He said he wasn’t interesting in English.
　　【正】 He said he wasn’t interested in English.
　　【析】 be interested in意为“对……感兴趣”。不能将其中的interested改为interesting。
　　11.我不喜欢打篮球，他也不喜欢。
　　【误】 I don’t like playing basketball，and he doesn’t，too.
　　【正】 I don’t like playing basketball，and he doesn’t，either.
　　【析】 too和either都表示“也”的意思，但是too用在肯定句的句尾，而either用在否定句的句尾。
　　12.让我们停下来休息一下。
　　【误】 Let’s stop having a rest.
　　【正】 Let’s stop to have a rest.
　　【析】 stop doing sth表示“停止正在做的事情”；而stop to do sth表示“停下正在做的事去做另外一件事”。根据句意，应该把having改为to have。
　　13.他正在照顾那个生病的男孩。
　　【误】 He is looking after the ill boy.
　　【正】 He is looking after the sick boy.
　　【析】 ill意为“生病的”时，只能作表语，不能作定语；而sick既可以作表语，也可以作定语。
