      both…and…, either…or… & neither…nor…
      both...and...(既……又……),either...or...(或者……
      both...and...
Both she and I are going to do the cleaning.(我和她两个人都要做清洁工作。)
      either...or...
Either you or I am wrong.(不是你错,就是我错。)
Neither her father nor her mother is a teacher.(她的父亲和母亲都不是老师。)
She can both sing and dance.(她能歌善舞。)
You may either stay or go.(你可以走,也可以留下。)
      He neither drinks nor smokes.(他既不抽烟也不喝酒。)
The room is both bright and clean.(屋子既明亮又干净。)
She looks either a worker or a doctor.(她看上去或许是一个工人,或许是一名医生。)
It is neither cold nor hot.(天气既不冷也不热。)
She teaches us both English and PE.(她既教我们英语也教我们体育。)
You speak either English or Chinese in class.(在班里你可以说英语也可以说汉语。)
Daniel likes neither reading nor writing.(丹尼尔既不喜欢读也不喜欢写。)
      so和neither/nor引导的倒装句
Rock music is okay, and so is skiing.(摇滚乐很好,滑雪也不错。)
      I don’t enjoy singing, nor do I like computers.(我不喜欢唱歌,也不喜欢计算机。)
I will never know what was on his mind at the time, nor will anyone else.(我永远不会知道当时他心里是怎么想的,其他人也不会知道。)
It is/was the same with sb. //So it is/was with sb. 如:
―Tom likes playing basketball but he can’t play well.(汤姆喜欢打篮球,但他打得不好。)
―So it is with me.(=I like playing basketball, too, but I can’t play well, either.)(我也一样。)
      ―She can speak French.(她会讲法语。)
      ―So she can.(她确实会讲法语。)
      Exercise: Teenagers=Cats?
(Don’t take it too seriously, though.:-D)
