　　1. 昨天他从我这里借了本词典。　　【误】 He lent a dictionary from me yesterday. 　　【正】 He borrowed a dictionary from me yesterday.
　　【析】 borrow表示“借进、借入”，即主语向别人借东西供自己使用，通常与from连用；而lend表示“借出”，指主语把自己的东西借给别人用，通常与to连用。
　　2. 你必须照顾好你自己，保持健康。
　　【误】 You must take care yourself and keep fit.
　　【正】 You must take care of yourself and keep fit.
　　【析】 take care of和take care的意义和用法大不相同。前者意为“照看；照料”，相当于look after；而后者意为“当心；小心”，相当于be careful和look out。
　　3. 那条河上有两座桥。
　　【误】 There are two bridges on the river.
　　【正】 There are two bridges over the river.
　　【析】介词over和on均可表示“在……上”，两者之间的区别是：over指某物在另一物的正上方，强调垂直关系，反义词为under；而on强调某物在另一物体的表面上，两者的表面有接触。桥只能架在河水上面的一定高度之上，不能紧贴在水面上。
　　4. 太阳、月亮和地球，你认为哪一个最大?
　　【误】 Which one is bigger，the sun，the moon or the earth?
　　【正】 Which one is the biggest，the sun，the moon or the earth?
　　三个或三个以上的人或物进行比较时，其中有一个“最……”时，应该用形容词的最高级，不应该用比较级。
　　5. 我们班对学生们喜欢在周末干的事情进行了调查。
　　【误】 Our class did a survey what students like to do on weekends.
　　【正】 Our class did a survey of what students like to do on weekends.
　　【析】 “do a survey of”意思是“对……进行调查”，其中的of不可省略。
　　6. 纽约是世界上最大的城市之一。
　　【误】 New York is one of the biggest city in the world.
　　【正】 New York is one of the biggest cities in the world.
　　【析】 “one of + 形容词的最高级 + 可数名词的复数形式”表示“最……之一”。
　　7. 他到了上学的年龄。
　　【误】 He is enough old to go to school.
　　【正】 He is old enough to go to school.
　　【析】副词enough修饰形容词或副词时，要后置。
　　8. 二十公里是一段很长的路。
　　【误】 Twenty kilometers are a long way.
　　【正】 Twenty kilometers is a long way.
　　【析】表示金钱、时间、距离等的复数名词作主语时，尽管是复数形式，但一般是被看作一个整体，即一笔金钱、一段时间或一段距离，此时谓语动词应为单数形式。
　　9. 他一句话也没有说就离开了。
　　【误】 He left without say a word.
　　【正】 He left without saying a word.
　　【析】 without是介词，后面只能跟动词⁃ing形式，不能跟动词原形。
　　10. 唱歌和画画我都不喜欢，我认为这些太无聊了。
　　【误】 I don’t like singing and drawing. I think they are too boring.
　　【正】 I don’t like singing or drawing. I think they are too boring.
　　【析】否定范围内的两个并列成分之间应该用or连接。
