　　I once told my friend, in reference to[提及] the 　　animated cut-scenes of Persona 3, that it was “downright[彻底的] criminal[可耻的] that Atlus has not
　　expanded them into a full anime series.”
　　Well, my wish has come true...kind of.
　　Persona ~Trinity Soul~, an original anime about stories happening ten years after the events of the game, is finally here. Shin Kanzato and his younger brother Jun return to their hometown, Ayanagi, a future city recently troubled by a series of strange cases. Their elder brother Ryou, the chief of the local police, investigates[调查] the unusual death. However,
　　something far more mysterious[神秘的] is at play. When Shin happens to get involved, an accident wakes his
　　Persona. Now the fate of the Kanzato brothers begins to change…
　　One of the reasons I want to see a Persona 3 anime is because I
　　absolutely love the art, so I’m happy
　　 that this series really maintains that stylized look. I know some fans complain that the use of the
　　Evoker[召唤器] � one of the coolest things in the Persona series, in which the characters shoot themselves on the head to release Persona � is missing in the anime. But you’ve got to admit this could be a bit too much for television, right?
　　I’m always worried when I start watching
　　a game adaptation � the anime based on Devil May Cry, for example. In this case, however, the production team wisely throws away the game plot and creates something new, while still keeping the elements that have made the game so attractive. If there is an anime that can do the impossible and
　　surprise us all, Persona ~Trinity Soul~ may be the one.
　　
　　The Charm of a Unique World
　　Though it isn’t
　　as famous as Final Fantasy,
　　the Persona
　　series is well-made
　　enough to be listed among the best
　　role-playing games (RPG). The fresh and deeply emotional stories are so compelling[引人入胜的] that they deserve a spot on any serious RPG fan’s shelf.
　　I have been a huge fan of Persona 3 since I played it on my PS2注. While half of the game is a typical teenager’s life, the other half
　　involves severe[激烈的] battles with
　　monsters and treasure-hunting adventure. This
　　combination of ordinary school days and bizarre[古怪的]
　　explorations gives the game a unique identity and, of course, great critical and commercial success.
　　According to the media, Persona 4 is on its way. It is said to hit Japan in early 2008 for the PS2 platform. I think the anime is more or less a good warm-up, really.

　　每当开始看游戏改编作品时，我总会担忧不已――例如《鬼泣》的动画版（就很糟糕）。而这次的制作团队却明智地舍弃了游戏情节，创作出全新的内容，同时保留了游戏吸引人的各种要素。如果有一部动画能完成“不可能的任务”，给我们带来惊喜，《女神异闻录－圣洁之魂》可能就是这样一套

　　独一无二的魅力
　　尽管名气不如《最终幻想》响亮，但《女神异闻录》系列制作精良，足以归入最优秀的角色扮演游戏（RPG）之列。新意十足、感情丰富的故事引人入胜，值得任何一个铁杆RPG迷收藏。
　　自从在自己的PS2上玩过《女神异闻录3》，我就成了它的超级粉丝。游戏中一半是典型的青少年生活，另一半则是与怪物的激烈战斗和寻宝冒险。这种结合了平凡校园生活与稀奇古怪的探险旅程的做法给游戏赋予独一无二的特性；当然，也带来了评论界的普遍好评和商业上的巨大成功。
　　据媒体报道，《女神异闻录4》也即将上市。据说新游戏会在2008年初登陆日本的PS2平台。我觉得这部动画或多或少是一个不错的热身运动，真的。
