　　　　Nowadays，when we walk through the street，we often see many boys and girls who，instead of spending their time on books，go wandering the street，start funny clubs and give parties. These boys and girls behave（表现）badly and they think highly of themselves. They do not work and just remain idle（懒散的）.
　　On the contrary，we can also see some boys and girls who live in a small world of their own. They bury themselves among（埋头于）books and also are proud of themselves. They think that they will be lowly regarded if they do housework，for they often think themselves very educated.
　　These two types of young people are wrong. In my opinion，everyone，including boys，should have knowledge of housework. After all，they will have a family of their own，and they should do their part in keeping a good home. Boys should also learn to do housework，for what will they do if they will be valuable assistants in the family knowing how to do some housework？After all，they will not lose anything，but，on the contrary，gain some knowledge. We can find examples in our fellow-students studying abroad. All young men do housework as a girl does. Of course，in Hong Kong，we have servants and we just sit down comfortably and watch our tasks being done by them. But what shall we do if the servants leave and all things are left to ourselves？We just cannot leave things as they are and let the worms and ants eat them up. And what can we do if we go and study in a foreign country where servants are out of our means to hire（无能力雇用）？We must work for ourselves. Why not start to learn to do housework now before it is too late？Everyone should learn to do housework. What do you think about it，boys and girls？
　　
　　Everyone wishes to be successful in life. No one wants to fail in work or study. Success brings happiness not only to the one who succeeds but also to his friends.
　　Success can be achieved through diligence. As the saying goes，where there is a will，there is a way. It is always difficult to start. But if we give up，there will be no success to speak of. If we persist on（坚持）trying our best，the difficulties will be overcome and success in sight.
　　Besides，devotion（专心）is also important to success. Like a fruit tree，it needs care and devotion.The gardener waters and sweats over the tree so that it can bear fruit. In the same way success can only be achieved through hard labour.
