Qatar began work on the Asian Games Village, also known as the Asiad Village, in 2003. This village has been built to accommodate[提供食宿] athletes and their support staff. A total of 14 multi-purpose stadiums have been refurbished[翻新] in accordance with the requirements of such a huge-scale event.
