    奥地利水仙节――清香的献礼|水仙花放在室内有毒吗

    　　On the 28th and 29th of May, 1960, the region known as Ausseerland held its first Narcissus[水仙] Festival as a spring celebration. The
    　　annual Narcissus Festival has since become a highlight of the spring season and it has developed into the largest flower festival in all of Austria.

    　　The Narcissus:
    　　The beautiful Narcissus flower that grows in abundance[充裕] in lovely Ausseerland Area is commonly called “Poet’s Narcissus” (also known as White Daffodil[水仙花]). This species
    　　is native to Southern Europe and can be found throughout Central Europe. From mid-May through late June, the lovely narcissus is in full bloom. It has come to represent purity of heart and soul because of its abundance in springtime and its delicate[精美的] fragrance. The Ausseerland Area boasts[以有……而自豪] vast fields and slopes[斜坡] with thousands of narcissus, their fragrance wafting[吹送] far and wide…
