    To [Ｔｏ　Ｐｒｏｔｅｃｔ　Ｏｕｒ　Ｅｎｖｉｒｏｎｍｅｎｔ]

    　　One day I went to a paper factory. There I found that the factory was pouring waste water into the river near it. The river had become very dirty. Lots of fish had died. That was terrible. It could do harm to the environment.
    　　It is very important to protect our environment. What do you think we should do to improve our environment? I think we can do the following things. First, we may plant trees. The more trees we plant, the better. Not only can we ourselves plant as many trees as possible but we can also ask other people to join us in doing this. The more people plant trees， the better. Secondly, we mustn’t throw any litter onto the ground. When you see some rubbish on the ground, please pick it up and throw it into a dustbin. Thirdly, we can collect waste paper and bottles for recycling. Fourthly, when we find some people or factories pollute the environment, we can write a letter to ask them to stop making the pollution. If they still do like this, we can write a letter about it to the TV station and the newspaper. Anyone who pollutes the environment is always afraid to be laid bare to the public.
    　　Wherever we live we can do something around our neighborhood.
    　　Have you ever dirtied public walls? Have you ever spat in a public place? Have you ever cut down trees? If your answer is “No”, it means that you have already helped protect our environment.
    　　Have you ever picked up some rubbish? Have you ever planted some trees or flowers in or near your neighbourhood? Have you ever collected waste paper for recycling? If your answer is “Yes”, it means that you have already done something useful to improve the environment.
    　　If everyone makes a contribution to protecting the environment, the world will become much more beautiful.
